Description and Identification

Sexual Dimorphism: Present but not prominent.
Color and Appearance
Forewing: When the wings are opened, they are dark brown with white bands that have black arrow stains. When the wings are closed, the colors are still visible.
Hindwing: When the wings are opened, they are gray with three bright wavy lines. When the wings are closed, the gray color is observable.
Average wingspan: 2.8-3.7 cm
