Moths in Arkansas
Arkansas has many moth species inhabiting throughout the state, of which only a few have been recorded. The snowberry clearwing moth, eight-spotted forester moth, and yellow-collared scape moth occur during the day. On the other hand, the luna moth is seen at night, particularly during spring and summer.
Of the pests known to cause a lot of damage to crops and plants, some include the corn earworm moth, tobacco budworm, and the gypsy moth.
