Moths in Delaware

Delaware has about 130 recorded species, the largest moths belonging to the Saturniidae family.  The white-lined sphinx moths having a prominent pink band, and the brownish tersa sphinx moth are commonly found here. When it comes to an infestation the Indian meal moth, and the common clothes moth tops the list, mostly found in food grains, and fabrics.
