Moths in Nebraska

Nebraska has different beautiful moth species, one of them being the green luna moth with a long flowing tail dwelling in the state’s southeastern part. The cecropia moth with a 6-inch wingspan is the state’s largest, commonly found all around but not seen readily since they get active only at night. One could even find the sphinx moth species here closely replicating a hummingbird. The white-lined sphinx moth with prominent pink bands is one of them.
